Decay is a zine entirely made with content created by young homeless people living in hostels across London. The content is collected by Accumulate, the charity behind the project, through workshops that they run in the hostels.
I had the chance to volunteer in one of the workshops and then edit and design the zine. Once the zine was printed, I was contacted to keep creating collateral material to be sold at zine fairs and online. Some of these are t-shirts, tote bags, large riso prints and acrylic brooches and keyrings.
I have also recently worked as part of a small group on the design and curation of an exhibition Accumulate held at the London Art Fair - I was involved in the process from the first visit of the space to the installation of all the work.
It has been an awesome experience to work for Accumulate and it continues to be so.
